Green Team
During our recent Next Generation visioning process, we highlighted the desire of many in the congregation to be more intentional at “greening our faith.” Building on a long history of environmental awareness and a successful community garden (we call ours the Vegetable Village), a “Green Team” was organized in the fall of 2009 to coordinate and highlight programs and offerings that help us deepen our appreciation of God’s creation as an integral part of our spiritual formation. The Green Team has offered classes, small group (ENACT), retreats and an ongoing “Green Corner” in our newsletter.
