On Sunday, May 18th, we confirmed 10 students. To see more pictures, go to the photo gallery.

Our confirmation program is a mentor based program. The students and mentors meet 2 times a month on Tuesday evenings. The program includes several field trips, 2 retreats, a “compassion project” involving 10 hours of service and a reflection paper on that experience. Congratulations to our students and thanks to our mentors.

Join us for a potluck and games. Childcare for children through 5th grade-ish will be available. After supper, Parents will gather for a time of community building and reflecting on the book In the Midst of Chaos (Looking at Editor’s Forward, Preface, chapters 1 and 2). The youth (all 18 of you) will begin viewing some of the documentary When the Levees Broke by Spike Lee during Sunday School. However, all youth are invited to come and watch. We will also spend some time doing community building, and getting to know one another better during this time. We will spend April 20, April 27, May 11, and June 8 during Sunday School preparing ourselves for our trip. And for those who are not able to participate in the trip, you will enjoy being a part of this as well. Chaperones are also invited to attend.
