Opportunities to build community
SAFE (Spiritually Affirming Friends Everywhere)
SAFE Dinner & Discussion: Mon., Sept. 15
Our September SAFE meeting will be hosted by Leslie Linser and LuAnn Greiner on Monday, September 15, 6:30 - 8:30pm, at 218 Shepard Terrace in Madison. Please phone 233-6051 or write to lflinser@hotmail.com or ll.greiner@hosp.wisc.edu so they’ll know you’ll be there, or to get directions to their home. If possible, bring a casserole, salad, or dessert to share with everyone; LuAnn and Leslie will provide beverages. After our potluck dinner, we’ll talk about plans for future meetings, so bring ideas for discussions and programs.
All ORUCC members and friends are always welcome to come to this and any other SAFE meeting. SAFE is an informal ORUCC social gathering of Christian lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans-gendered and questioning individuals and their families and friends - gay and straight. Most SAFE participants drive to meetings directly from work. Questions about SAFE? Ask this year’s planning team: Lori Miller, Barb Wolter or Ginny Kruse. Want to receive regular e-mail announcements about SAFE programs, projects and gatherings? Send your e-mail address to winton@orucc.org indicating that you want to be added to the SAFE e-mail list.
