Children offer each other a “Holy Week Walk” experience

Our 4th and 5th graders hosted a Holy Week Walk for the younger children of our church. They shared 8 different stories that describe the events surrounding Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. After the story was read, each child received a token that represented that particular story. They also received a “Holy Week Walk box” for their tokens. For the final two stories, the crucifixion and the resurrection, the children developed musical pieces that they shared as part of the walk. Now the younger children, using the tokens, can retell these 8 stories to their family as a way of remembering Holy Week.
