We are delighted that almost 60% of you have returned pledge cards to your campaign visitors. We are deeply appreciative of your prayerful consideration of this campaign.
Your Campaign Steering Committee and the Leadership Team have set May 20 as a target date to have as many pledge cards returned to the church as possible. While we know this is not possible for everyone, the sooner we have pledges, the sooner we can bring proposals back to the congregation. No recommendations will be made until at least 90-95% of the pledge cards have been returned. We expect to have a congregational meeting in June. Once we have pledges in, and know the total amounts, we’ll also begin working on recommendations for the congregation and announcing congregational gatherings.
